Her career trajectory took a significant turn in 2015 while working in a demanding Director role within an independent PR agency, coinciding with her mother's battle with a chronic illness. This period prompted a reevaluation of her priorities, culminating in her mother's passing and a powerful realisation about the importance of joy and purpose in life. Inspired by these experiences, Lucy pursued coaching and neuro-linguistic programming certifications in 2016, integrating her substantial corporate expertise with a passion for personal development.
