Operating from Australia's largest dedicated climate tech hub in the Salesforce Tower at 180 George Street, Sydney CBD, Greenhouse connects innovators, investors, committed corporations, and government agencies to address critical global climate challenges. The initiative was significantly boosted by a $31 million grant from the City of Sydney, representing a 10-year investment to foster a net-zero future, and officially opened its doors on 25 October 2023.

The entity serves as a vibrant coworking space and a dynamic community for over 850 innovators focused on climate action. It offers flexible and dedicated desk options, as well as enterprise suites, providing a fertile ground for startups and established businesses working on solutions ranging from renewable energy and the circular economy to biotech, carbon capture, smart grid management, and sustainable agriculture. Greenhouse aims to foster a collaborative environment where members can build, scale, and deploy climate solutions.

Beyond providing physical space, Greenhouse offers a range of programs and initiatives designed to support climate founders and facilitate corporate innovation. These include bespoke founder programs, sector-based initiatives, and innovation challenges that rally funding, technology, and broad-scale industry support. Co-founded by Creel Price, who also serves as CEO, and supported by Trevor Folsom of Investible, Greenhouse leverages strategic partnerships with both local and international organisations, such as the World Economic Forum's First Movers Coalition and Sydney's Endeavour Energy, to advance its mission.
