NAB Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of the National Australia Bank (NAB), operating as a global initiative to support entrepreneurs in Australia and internationally. Established in 2015, the firm was founded with an initial $50 million fund to accelerate NAB's commitment to customer-led innovation and to gain deeper insights into emerging business models and technologies. NAB Ventures primarily invests in leading technology companies that align with the bank's strategic priorities, fostering disruptive solutions across various sectors.

NAB Ventures has developed a streamlined internal investment process, enabling high-growth ventures to move from a signed term sheet to investment close in as little as four weeks. Their investment focus spans innovative technologies and business models in areas such as AgTech, FinTech, InsurTech, Payments and Commerce, PropTech, RegTech, Climate, and Asset and Wealth Management. They also look horizontally at alternative lending, blockchain technology, cybersecurity, data and AI/ML, digital solutions, and Enterprise SaaS. The firm targets companies across various stages, including Seed, Series A, Series B, and Series C.

Over its operational history, NAB Ventures has built a diverse portfolio of technology companies, with 36 total investments and 25 portfolio companies. Key achievements include successful exits of several portfolio companies through acquisitions by larger entities, demonstrating its ability to identify and nurture promising ventures. The leadership team includes Managing Director Amanda Angelini, who brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and operator across start-ups and major financial institutions. Todd Forest, a founding partner, now serves as a Strategic Advisor, contributing his deep insights from leading start-ups and technology companies. Hermia Leung serves as an Investment Director, and Mark Raymer chairs the NAB Ventures Investment Committee.
