Law Squared is a contemporary legal firm established in Melbourne, Australia, in 2016 by founder Demetrio Zema. Since its inception, Law Squared has experienced rapid growth, expanding its footprint internationally with offices launched in London in 2022 and Auckland, New Zealand, in 2023. This expansion enables the firm to offer dual jurisdictional support, providing a single point of engagement for businesses operating across Australia, the UK, and New Zealand. A key differentiator is their value-based fixed-fee model, which eliminates traditional billable hours and provides clients with cost certainty and transparency for every engagement.

Notable achievements include assisting clinical AI platform Oscer in raising $5 million and forging a landmark partnership with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as their International Law Firm partner.

Leadership at Law Squared has recently seen a significant transition, with Claire Sundin appointed as the firm's inaugural Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026. Prior to this, she was the Global Head of Legal – Retail at H&M Group, bringing extensive international legal and strategic experience. Demetrio Zema, the founder, has transitioned to Group CEO of the newly established parent company, Squared Group, which also encompasses Cubed by Law Squared and Tetra Claims. This leadership evolution underscores Law Squared's commitment to continued innovation and growth within a human-centred legal framework.
