WorkLife is a dynamic coworking network established in Berry, Australia, dedicated to fostering vibrant regional communities by providing flexible and purpose-built workspaces. Founded in 2017 by Kate Dezarnaulds, who sought a better work-life balance outside major cities, WorkLife emerged as the South Coast's first coworking space. With a vision to spark creativity, build community, and support the evolving rhythms of regional life, the organisation has since expanded its footprint to include locations in Coledale (2021) and Picton (2023), each uniquely shaped by its local town and people.

The entity serves a diverse cohort of professionals, including remote workers, creatives, microbusiness owners, freelancers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, not-for-profits, and various government and community groups. WorkLife offers a range of options from coworking memberships and dedicated desks to private suites and virtual office solutions, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for its members. The spaces are designed to facilitate focused work, collaboration, and connection, providing amenities such as high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and event spaces.

What sets WorkLife apart is its deep commitment to strengthening regional communities through innovative coworking solutions. As a certified B Corp and social enterprise, WorkLife prioritises local suppliers and independent service providers, believing that investment in local businesses leads to collective prosperity. Their mission is to inspire individuals to thrive in regional areas by offering flexible, values-driven environments that promote meaningful local work and reduce the need for city commutes.

Key achievements include supporting 200 members, providing free or discounted space to over 20 community organisations, hosting hundreds of events, and creating six flexible, well-paid jobs for local women in the past year. Kate Dezarnaulds, the driving force behind WorkLife, was recognised for her leadership, winning the Outstanding Business Leader award at the inaugural Kiama Business Awards, underscoring the positive impact WorkLife has on the economic and social fabric of its communities.
