Write a ReviewAbout The Workery Coworking Space
The Workery Coworking Space is a modern, stylish, and bright workspace situated in the heart of Elsternwick village, Melbourne, Australia. It offers a comprehensive suite of flexible office solutions designed to foster productivity and community. The Workery caters primarily to startups, consultants, small businesses, freelancers, and remote workers who are seeking a professional and supportive environment outside of traditional or home office settings.
Established in 2013 by three friends, Russell, Delia, and Jeff, The Workery began with a clear vision: to create an inspiring shared workspace that offered an alternative to working in isolation. From its modest beginnings with just 10 desks, the space has undergone substantial expansion. It now provides over 100 workspaces, encompassing dedicated desks, 27 private offices, and one private suite, along with well-equipped meeting rooms.
A key differentiator for The Workery is its unwavering commitment to cultivating a positive and collaborative community. The ethos is centered on supporting members to connect, share ideas, and enhance both their professional wellbeing and overall productivity. The workspace itself is celebrated for its contemporary design, spacious layout, and abundant natural light, creating an energising and conducive atmosphere for focused work and innovation.
The Workery prides itself on offering an all-inclusive service model, which removes the burden of managing typical office overheads. Members benefit from high-speed internet, payment of rates and electricity, regular cleaning, and 24/7 access, ensuring they can seamlessly settle in and concentrate on their core business activities. This comprehensive approach, combined with month-to-month lease terms, a three-month minimum, and just one month's notice, provides businesses with significant freedom and flexibility.
Currently, the operations of The Workery are guided by Russell Miles, one of the original founders, and Jayne Josem. They continue to uphold the founding principles of community support and fostering professional growth within a relaxed yet professional environment. Its strategic location in Elsternwick village further enhances its appeal, offering easy access to an array of cafes, restaurants, shops, public transport, and convenient free parking options for members.
