Cohort Innovation Space

Cohort Innovation Space is a vibrant coworking and innovation hub located in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, Australia. Established in May 2019, it was transformed by the Queensland Government from former recreation rooms of the GC2018 Commonwealth Games into a dynamic environment for startups, scaleups, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Since its inception, Cohort has been managed by CoSpaces, an Australian pioneer in coworking and commercial management, overseeing all innovation programs, events, and activities within the space.

The entity serves a diverse community, including aspiring founders, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), students, and innovators across health, science, and technology sectors. It provides essential infrastructure, specialised programs, and extensive networking opportunities to foster growth and convert early-stage concepts into commercial successes. Cohort Innovation Space offers a comprehensive suite of services including coworking desks, private offices, and three certified PC1 and PC2 research laboratories, a unique offering in Australia designed to support scientific entrepreneurs. It also features a 120-person event space, private meeting rooms, and a fully equipped podcast studio.
