Write a ReviewAbout Collective Campus
Collective Campus is a prominent corporate innovation accelerator based in Melbourne, Australia, with a global footprint, dedicated to helping large organisations adapt and thrive in an era of rapid disruption. Established in 2014 by co-founders Steve Glaveski and Sean Qian, the entity originated from a simple Meetup experiment exploring 'lean startup for corporates'. This initial foray quickly evolved into a comprehensive hub, school, and consultancy, aiming to empower frustrated intrapreneurs and foster innovation within established firms.
At its core, Collective Campus focuses on delivering practical, impactful solutions, actively eschewing what it terms 'innovation theatre'. Their offerings encompass a wide array of services, including innovation training and workshops, innovation consulting, and bespoke corporate startup partnership programmes. They excel at bridging the gap between the structured corporate world and agile startup ecosystems, allowing both to leverage each other's strengths. Recently, Collective Campus has significantly expanded its expertise into AI automation consulting and training, helping businesses streamline operations and unlock new growth opportunities through artificial intelligence.
Collective Campus serves a diverse clientele of large organisations across various sectors, extending its reach across Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Auckland, Hong Kong, London, New York, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Notable partners and clients include global players like Microsoft, BNP Paribas, National Australia Bank, Telstra, Clifford Chance, Asahi, MetLife, and Village Roadshow. A key differentiator is their talent-on-demand network of consultants, coaches, and facilitators, which enables them to deploy specialised expertise globally, free from traditional corporate constraints.
Over the years, Collective Campus has achieved significant milestones. They were instrumental in creating Australia's first accelerator program for property technology startups in partnership with Charter Hall, showcasing their ability to tailor innovative solutions to specific industries. By 2022, the organisation had incubated and mentored 90 startups that collectively raised over US$185 million, demonstrating a remarkable track record of fostering entrepreneurial success. Furthermore, in collaboration with blockchain development agency Labrys, Collective Campus launched Metarise, a dedicated Web3 venture fund and startup accelerator, further solidifying their position at the forefront of emerging technologies. Leadership is spearheaded by Steve Glaveski, a prolific author and host of the 'Future Squared' podcast, and Sean Qian, who continues to drive community engagement and corporate-startup connections.
