Women on Boards (WOB) is an independent organization based in Australia, founded in 2006 by Claire Braund OAM and Ruth Medd. Its mission is to empower women's leadership by supporting and equipping women for board and leadership roles while addressing gender inequity.

📖 The Story

WOB originated from a network of Australian businesswomen inspired by the success of female athletes at the Sydney Olympic Games. WOB hosts events in major Australian cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, fostering a supportive community for women to network and share knowledge. The organization provides access to a curated vacancy board, with thousands of board and committee listings available.
