Smart Precinct NQ is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2019, serving as a dynamic hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. Founded by the North Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (NQROC) and James Cook University (JCU), and financially supported by the Townsville City Council and Advance Queensland, the entity provides a comprehensive ecosystem for businesses and entrepreneurs to flourish. It offers physical and online spaces, alongside a robust network, to foster learning and growth across the region. Their services encompass start-up accelerators, incubator programs, business growth advisory, and investment support, specifically designed to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of high-growth, globally competitive companies in North Queensland.

The precinct is dedicated to nurturing a diverse range of individuals and entities, from budding founders and established small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to investors, industry partners, and government bodies. Their impact is further evidenced by Townsville being recognised as one of the SMART21 Communities of 2021 by the Intelligent Community Forum, an acknowledgment partly attributed to the precinct's strategic initiatives and services. The organisation also delivers a portfolio of strategic government projects, including the Accelerating Female Founders program, designed to empower women entrepreneurs, and various circular economy programs aimed at embedding sustainable principles into local business operations.
